Buckskin Trail is located in the Daniel Boone National Forest by Cave Run Lake. It is 10.3 miles long and goes from the Zilpo Recreation Area to the Stoney Cove Recreation Area. Hog Pen and Cave Run trails connect to Buckskin which provide for optional routes and loops.

Directions

Take I-64 to exit 123 and head east on US 60. Take a right on KY 211 and then left at the Daniel Boone National Forest sign onto FS 129. This road leads you to FS 918 which goes to the Zilpo Recreation Area. Look for the "Buckskin Trailhead" sign just before the gate that leads to Zilpo and pull into the gravel parking area.
