A 56 acre county park located between two subdivisions in Oldham county, located North of Hwy 22, two miles East of Crestwood, Ky. Because there was a limited area available for mountain bike trail development, the trail designers created singletrack with emphasis on technical riding verses speed. There are numerous tight switchbacks, log jumps, rock drops and creek crossings. The climbs and desents are short but will test your fitness and bike handling skills. This park will challenge the novice rider and entertain the expert. Full suspension down hill riders may not like the layout but if you have a light hardtail and enjoy those awkward "trailsin' esk" lines, this may be your kind of place. Briar Hill is also gaining a reputation for being a great night-ride destination. The parking lot has fresh water, gender toilets and picnic tables with shelter.
Briar Hills is located just a few miles east of Louisville, KY. From Gene Snyder take Hwy 22 east for 4.5 miles and turn North on Briar Hill Parkway. This will take you to the parking area.
